Based on these new insights, we explore the implications for possible holographic constructions involving a de Sitter or flat space bulk. We show that Carroll-like (including particle Carroll) geometry in a hypothetical de Sitter holography mirrors the recently realized important role played by Galilei-like geometry in matrix theory and the AdS/CFT correspondence.
