This results in energy efficient power amplifiers (PAs). We propose a holistic CE precoding scheme based on the symbol-wise minimum squared error (SMSE) criterion. Additionally, we analyze the distortions introduced by low-resolution quantization to PSK for higher energy efficiency reasons.
