Consequently, the question arises, how to make these general-covariant balances compatible with Einstein's field equations. The compatibility conditions are derived by performing a modified Belinfante-Rosenfeld symmetrization for the non-symmetric and not divergence-free general-relativistic energy-momentum tensor.
