Frucht, Graver and Watkins determined the automorphism groups of generalized Petersen graphs in 1971, and much later, Nedela and \\v{S}koviera and (independently) Lovre\\v{c}i\\v{c}-Sara\\v{z}in characterised those which are Cayley graphs.
