A general exact master equation for the dynamics can be obtained by the quantum-state-diffusion (QSD) equation. The quantumness of the atoms including coherence and entanglement is investigated within various configurations of the external environment. It is shown that the preservation and generation of the quantumness can be controlled by regulating the parameters of the cavity network.
