Our method avoids the limitations of pseudopotential theory allowing to include accurately long-range anisotropic interactions. Analyzing ultracold dipolar collisions in a harmonic waveguide we predict dipolar confinement-induced resonances (DCIRs) which are attributed to different angular momentum states.
