Specifically, a decoupling occurs between the qubit and the high-frequency modes. The coupling strength between the qubit and resonator modes increases with mode frequency $\\omega$ as $\\sqrt{\\omega}$ at low frequencies and decreases as $1/\\sqrt{\\omega}$ at high frequencies.
