The self-consistent thermodynamic treatment of the chemical-potential-dependent quark mass is maintained by the effective bag function, which depends on both the chemical potential and the magnetic field. It is found that the vector interaction could enlarge the surface tension in both the parallel and transverse directions with respect to the magnetic field.
