They were introduced at the end of the 70's by Kesten-Spitzer and Borodin, motivated by the construction of new self-similar processes with stationary increments. Two sources of randomness enter in their definition: a random field $\\xi = (\\xi_x)_{x \\in \\Z^d}$ of i.i.d.\\ random variables, which is called the \\emph{random scenery}, and a random walk $S = (S_n)_{n \\in \\N}$ evolving in $\\Z^d$, independent from the scenery. The RWRS $Z = (Z_n)_{n \\in \\N}$ is then defined as the accumulated scene","authors_text":"Julien Poisat, Nadine Guillotin-Plantard (ICJ), Renato Soares Dos Santos (ICJ)","cross_cats":[],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"math.PR","submitted_at":"2013-06-16T07:44:01Z","title":"A Quenched Functional Central Limit Theorem for Planar Random Walks in Random Sceneries"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"1306.3635","kind":"arxiv","version":4},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:77f88d0639c1366614bcf8ac74db03cbc6f384c367f0fbe151106783c64ba8cb","target":"record","created_at":"2026-05-18T02:41:58Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"3a6de104b0f69e55771cff9bc4a9ac747eaebc6b5ce0ebcf9215005e0094502d","cross_cats_sorted":[],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"math.PR","submitted_at":"2013-06-16T07:44:01Z","title_canon_sha256":"37147ea0dc7bd00b87158cf93f8c78acccd19dcd74db229fa4b4437a5089e3c9"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"1306.3635","kind":"arxiv","version":4}},"canonical_sha256":"6463f39f022593a808a0c733ab38748a488fbf7ec452f417af67c30b3f56c39a","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"6463f39f022593a808a0c733ab38748a488fbf7ec452f417af67c30b3f56c39a","first_computed_at":"2026-05-18T02:41:58.408955Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-05-18T02:41:58.408955Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"5oEwLsb+cM67xyu+RvvnFNdwXr9BjOqv5Tr6r9UYWhrg43I7q4mepz2NURf+wDxjXtuQBCIUJ1eZnKOY2s/VAg==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-05-18T02:41:58.409369Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"1306.3635","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":4}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:77f88d0639c1366614bcf8ac74db03cbc6f384c367f0fbe151106783c64ba8cb","sha256:77663b9113e596a47bf2aefaecad55308fe77aeba757b8a81fa12f5007c30c89"],"state_sha256":"00fb1b3ff4a1cf977dc9090de86bb77461374d8f94893a6b76206c904eb21b70"}
