Experimental data reveals pronounced magnetic diffuse scattering, which is successfully modeled by direct Monte-Carlo simulations. Long-range magnetic correlations are found along the c-axis, due to the presence of corner-sharing bipyramids, creating quasi one-dimensional order at finite temperature.
