We describe the set of jumping conics of $\\Ee$, a cubic symmetroid in $\\PP_3$, in terms of the cohomological properties of $\\Ee$. As a consequence, we prove that the set of jumping conics, $S(\\Ee)$, uniquely determines $\\Ee$.
