The chief focus of this paper is the quantum-mechanical solution of the three-quark model Hamiltonian, describing baryons. For the longitudinal momentum fractions $x_i$, the pertinent basis follows from quantum mechanics in a \"triangular cup\" potential, which we solve exactly.
