Here we predict analytically that enhanced homo-oligonucleotide sequence correlations, such as poly(dA:dT) and poly(dC:dG) tracts, statistically enhance non-specific TF-DNA binding affinity. This prediction is generic and qualitatively independent of microscopic parameters of the model.
