In the dilute regime, a Langevin description derived from a Boltzmann-Lorentz equation shows how intruder geometry governs ratchet effects and odd response. In the dense regime, the dynamics of the intruder are instead governed by the hydrodynamic modes of the bath and edge currents, which are described by a Stokes equation including a chiral torque density.
