Albeit being a powerful analysis tool, especially for label-free biomedical imaging with molecular contrast, it suffers from inherently low signal levels. This practical limitation can be overcome by non-linear enhancement techniques like stimulated Raman scattering (SRS). In SRS, an additional light source stimulates the Raman scattering process. This can lead to orders of magnitude increase in signal levels and hence faster acquisition ","authors_text":"Matthias Eibl, Robert Huber, Sebastian Karpf, Thomas Klein, Wolfgang Wieser","cross_cats":[],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"physics.optics","submitted_at":"2018-10-11T10:17:51Z","title":"Shot-Noise limited Time-encoded (TICO) Raman spectroscopy"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"1810.04940","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:5f23a710ae27b3ad090fa69b0b5eab39e95cce09ff1d813e50b2f4dd2e899440","target":"record","created_at":"2026-05-18T00:03:35Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"9434ac67c74e7b75771140d3c427172d1328698157e0d7127b1078633a226d76","cross_cats_sorted":[],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"physics.optics","submitted_at":"2018-10-11T10:17:51Z","title_canon_sha256":"38f8f108338fb07d94b43b54abcd18027d76f4cc88fb10e441dad67a1efb1817"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"1810.04940","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"76c6be59b1d9047cb925b59a0bfdb861397dc29deb9e363ff1a6024ef0e00b2c","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"76c6be59b1d9047cb925b59a0bfdb861397dc29deb9e363ff1a6024ef0e00b2c","first_computed_at":"2026-05-18T00:03:35.449804Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-05-18T00:03:35.449804Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"8NLf/OFnUhK6MGSP9hgx5ji1BwwaTeayKozFHHxiklLxvv9nrttnfqufJV8q2ilVnDBgLN4jaOUZ8vnYggA9Cg==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-05-18T00:03:35.450383Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"1810.04940","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:5f23a710ae27b3ad090fa69b0b5eab39e95cce09ff1d813e50b2f4dd2e899440","sha256:e011c060667e28d37852c600047a63ccde9fd5e5894e48b2fe1c6daea1c480f3"],"state_sha256":"500353fc3329400ead896bb33769dc4990574f14ffa4856f6466cef614b8a863"}
