We present an analysis of the thermodynamical and mechanical stabilities of the RN-AF in both the Gibbs-Boltzmann (GB) and the alternative R\\'enyi statistics when charge $q$ and electrostatic potential $\\phi$ are treated as pressure and volume, respectively.
