To this purpose we represent the {\\it in-medium} $g$ matrix as an admixture of isospin-symmetric nuclear matter and pure neutron matter solutions of Brueckner-Hartree-Fock equations for infinite nuclear matter, denoted as $g[\\rho,\\beta]$.
