In particular, I focus on two anomalies: the ratios $R(D^{(*)})=\\displaystyle\\frac{{\\cal B}(B \\to D^{(*)} \\tau \\bar \\nu_\\tau)}{{\\cal B}(B \\to D^{(*)} \\ell \\bar \\nu_\\ell)}$ and the inclusive versus exclusive determination of $|V_{cb}|$.
