While the Peaceman-Rachford (PR) splitting method itself may not be convergent for solving the WBP, the HPR algorithm can achieve an $O(1/\\varepsilon)$ non-ergodic iteration complexity with respect to the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) residual.
