A one-meson-exchange model is employed to describe the Lambda N-> n N processes in a finite nucleus framework. The relationship between the intrinsic Lambda asymmetry parameter a_\\Lambda and the asymmetry a^M_\\Lambda accessible in experiments is discussed.
