Within the framework of nonrelativistic effective field theory with coupled channels $\\pi^0\\pi^0$ and $\\pi^+\\pi^-$, we revisit the near-threshold structures in the $\\pi^0\\pi^0$ spectrum of $\\psi^\\prime \\to J/\\psi \\pi\\pi$.
