The ideal splitting is caused by the energy filtering that is enforced by the bandstructure of the electrodes. The pSn junction is modeled by the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations and an extension of the Blonder-Tinkham-Klapwijk theory beyond the Andreev approximation.
