The first model studies edge states in FQHE using supersymmetric domain walls in N=6 Chern-Simons theory. We show that D4-branes wrapped on CP^1 or D8-branes wrapped on CP^3 create edge states that shift the rank or the level of the gauge group, respectively. These holographic edge states correctly reproduce the Hall conductivity. The second model presents a holographic dual to the pure U(N)_k (Yang-Mills-)Chern-Simons theory based on a D3-D7 system. Its holography is equivalent to the level-","authors_text":"Mitsutoshi Fujita, Shinsei Ryu, Tadashi Takayanagi, Wei Li","cross_cats":["cond-mat.mes-hall"],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"hep-th","submitted_at":"2009-01-08T04:40:24Z","title":"Fractional Quantum Hall Effect via Holography: Chern-Simons, Edge States, and Hierarchy"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"0901.0924","kind":"arxiv","version":3},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:0a3e538ab74224f83293c8837a3562f278095275a16da179ab53aa1adce34819","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-04T15:46:24Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"66c1698101003e8ffd5f03b0bc5b20f647665aeb4c3fa4aa24e65b5735d9244d","cross_cats_sorted":["cond-mat.mes-hall"],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"hep-th","submitted_at":"2009-01-08T04:40:24Z","title_canon_sha256":"a7dd6b1392ff54331582ef707d782087defd20c7ebaa3f0178e746716dae80f3"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"0901.0924","kind":"arxiv","version":3}},"canonical_sha256":"8dc0fb3ca1e5fb5404bec29438fc8f0dcc5dbf8091d65d73b8b3f4c851f39fa6","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"8dc0fb3ca1e5fb5404bec29438fc8f0dcc5dbf8091d65d73b8b3f4c851f39fa6","first_computed_at":"2026-07-04T15:46:24.232770Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-04T15:46:24.232770Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"1fGsnCw6ABgPjaFj95SGpWiy2GPZdGAjz5e/VnkhgW115oBURHKaBcxdYBlnJBGtJIDVSzaFpozGWB5waAYlAw==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-04T15:46:24.233118Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"0901.0924","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":3}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:0a3e538ab74224f83293c8837a3562f278095275a16da179ab53aa1adce34819","sha256:00086dfba30ff78ad2c5ba733b7c9ecebbc321270394c53f948d00b602c8642d"],"state_sha256":"b0ed19a5ae13cd1831ff1e6ebfafb1d16f10e67d850107b8298b53142d1d877c"}
