The sample consists of 30 nearby (z<0.2) BL Lacs, mostly X-ray selected. These nearby objects are weak in the radio, yet we have successfully observed them with the VLA, VLBA and EVN, revealing interesting morphologies. Most importantly, we find evidence of relativistic boosting even in these low power sources (dominant core, one-sided jets).
