The decay angle distributions in the chain $\\Xi_{c}(2970)^+ \\to \\Xi_c(2645)^{0}\\pi^{+} \\to \\Xi_c^{+}\\pi^{-}\\pi^{+}$ are analyzed to determine the spin of this charmed-strange baryon.
