The formalism allows to separate spin-dependent terms from the basic spin-independent interaction, contained in the Wilson loop, and producing confining and gluon exchange interaction. As a result one obtains relativistic spin-spin interaction $V_{ss}$, generalizing its nonrelativistic analog.
