We discuss the fundamental geometrodynamic aspects of VSL cosmologies, and provide several alternative implementations. These implementations provide a large class of VSL cosmologies that pass the zeroth-order consistency tests of being compatible with both classical Einstein gravity and low-energy particle physics.
