It is found that a stochastically driven damped simple harmonic oscillator (SHO) is necessary to capture the characteristics of the X-ray bursts. Variability timescale of the X-ray bursts, corresponding to the broken frequencies in the SHO power spectral densities (PSDs), are extracted.
