Consequently, occluded surfaces are possible to be reconstructed from LF images. In this paper, we handle the LF de-occlusion (LF-DeOcc) problem using a deep encoder-decoder network (namely, DeOccNet). In our method, sub-aperture images (SAIs) are first given to the encoder to incorporate both spatial and angular information. The encoded representations are then used by the decoder to render an occlusionfree center-view SAI. To the best of our knowledge, DeOccNet is the first deep learning-based ","authors_text":"Jungang Yang, Longguang Wang, Tianhao Wu, Wei An, Yingqian Wang, Yulan Guo","cross_cats":[],"headline":"","license":"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","primary_cat":"cs.CV","submitted_at":"2019-12-10T02:35:29Z","title":"DeOccNet: Learning to See Through Foreground Occlusions in Light Fields"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"1912.04459","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:30c4339e2445d71e7e9d46f348fc30531bab6702d8dab76785fe372973aeb80a","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-05T00:24:59Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"f00394b0be609dcdfbf63ac71f7b20425041f8035520e68e6c8eefd82431a031","cross_cats_sorted":[],"license":"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","primary_cat":"cs.CV","submitted_at":"2019-12-10T02:35:29Z","title_canon_sha256":"70a9a1362c858de8d6f66cb7dbd53dabc6872c4207587dc44860736cb419833d"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"1912.04459","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"98b6bdfa16c04187940117823a948c2a2f651620ee54e5498b8c4a0947228eb4","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"98b6bdfa16c04187940117823a948c2a2f651620ee54e5498b8c4a0947228eb4","first_computed_at":"2026-07-05T00:24:59.476572Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-05T00:24:59.476572Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"/s3p0PnTS3SdKoO78s6HxZZQu3Bp83uoA/WNuPXxud+J17gFxaE76xgyWUxTPp/WTVEx1r+hfyerCrM95HgpCw==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-05T00:24:59.477005Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"1912.04459","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:30c4339e2445d71e7e9d46f348fc30531bab6702d8dab76785fe372973aeb80a","sha256:030b13b6a08d49d68b729564d98d3145df439cb78a56b11c67d777c1b1b29a30"],"state_sha256":"04fc1a23fd36d270114d0a75a72e1e61bbe248a087c14d31aab94af3d3702fe5"}
