Our analysis is based upon a Schwinger-Dyson equations treatment of a vector $\\times$ vector contact interaction. It incorporates confinement and ensures axial vector and vector Ward-Takahashi identities are satisfied along with the corresponding corollaries such as the Goldberger-Treiman relations.
