The fluctuation-dissipation theorem (FDT) is often applied to near equilibrium systems with detailed balance. The response due to a small perturbation can be expressed by a spontaneous fluctuation. For non-equilibrium systems, we derived a generalized FDT that the response function is composed of two parts: (1) a spontaneous correlation representing the relaxation which is present in the near equilibrium systems with detailed balance; (2) a correlation related to the ","authors_text":"Haidong Feng, Jin Wang","cross_cats":["physics.chem-ph"],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"cond-mat.stat-mech","submitted_at":"2011-08-29T18:08:06Z","title":"Potential and Flux Decomposition for Dynamical Systems and Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics: Curvature, Gauge Field and Generalized Fluctuation-Dissipation Theorem"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"1108.5680","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:26d86e6a54637fbe8aafe90294d40f29af6a8cabb3b9a4dba485cccc454924a0","target":"record","created_at":"2026-05-18T02:00:45Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"4db65f3f49d974110932e4ef3ad088210cabbedb502c6a451daeca9df4c18079","cross_cats_sorted":["physics.chem-ph"],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"cond-mat.stat-mech","submitted_at":"2011-08-29T18:08:06Z","title_canon_sha256":"c6642174955342b8839f61ce4d3a480fa348e531639804d6ea20e81033f937a2"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"1108.5680","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"99a84b8060f17d490c6a76d1ce0df056365d1cb388889e17bfab19a890ffdd55","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"99a84b8060f17d490c6a76d1ce0df056365d1cb388889e17bfab19a890ffdd55","first_computed_at":"2026-05-18T02:00:45.210743Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-05-18T02:00:45.210743Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"UQ7FoX/htHmaPxFN8Udo4iCK6PFDr8dW3QstbHdFwNA9viWlkSF6lbKx1u042CcVazLspWwURv/nsZCVsi0wDw==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-05-18T02:00:45.211455Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"1108.5680","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:26d86e6a54637fbe8aafe90294d40f29af6a8cabb3b9a4dba485cccc454924a0","sha256:fa6d2d0285a94371060f3d26d01756a5c871fcec5a33bb0bdb6f36b901a4ef0c"],"state_sha256":"4d2a59068673797044c726433d14c6d45e86ced6266da4520828864e52ff9f05"}
