Using an effective one-dimensional Gross-Pitaeskii equation and Bogoliubov theory, we derive an analytical formula that interpolates between the three-dimensional and the one-dimensional mean-field regimes. In the strictly one-dimensional limit, we compare our results with Lieb-Liniger theory.
