The transient heat conduction problem is solved in a liquid that surrounds a bubble with a free boundary and in a semi-infinite solid heater. The heat generated homogeneously in the heater causes evaporation, i. e. the bubble growth. A singularity exists at the point of the triple (liquid-vapor-solid) contact. At high system pressure the bubble is assumed to grow slowly, its shape being defined by the surface tension and","authors_text":"Daniel Beysens (SBT - UMR 9004), SPEC - UMR3680), Vadim Nikolayev (SBT - UMR 9004","cross_cats":["cond-mat.stat-mech","math.NA"],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"physics.class-ph","submitted_at":"2016-01-25T12:25:33Z","title":"2D BEM modeling of a singular thermal diffusion free boundary problem with phase change"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"1601.07196","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:72761408e30454582a119b53903788d83286c71f7233084c4efe4d265dc9262f","target":"record","created_at":"2026-05-18T01:21:46Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"1e6486a5825dca9f7a89c48bf03d26f9e95653fc77d3667c5cf3c17b49fcb31b","cross_cats_sorted":["cond-mat.stat-mech","math.NA"],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"physics.class-ph","submitted_at":"2016-01-25T12:25:33Z","title_canon_sha256":"47bbfa3524ad0606cfc57b7576fd92ed60c112e69962d2057642e602416c596f"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"1601.07196","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"9bfd303d5f3c3d666d34bfd748f0a1cad3d79ee6b1c87a25c2c2a85ee5569fc3","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"9bfd303d5f3c3d666d34bfd748f0a1cad3d79ee6b1c87a25c2c2a85ee5569fc3","first_computed_at":"2026-05-18T01:21:46.578705Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-05-18T01:21:46.578705Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"1ilRbrErX2YzzTa6MrPdr7L7+azJvgR2YXPTzaBDuqUMdsIOwd02lhc7AHIYOmvUasZ7gQoCLc0fnu5ozZPIAA==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-05-18T01:21:46.579448Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"1601.07196","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:72761408e30454582a119b53903788d83286c71f7233084c4efe4d265dc9262f","sha256:e408fa281a0c74dcd6248658bdde3e91b130a655f3c5ba9dba49802a3279ece3"],"state_sha256":"2f2edb7e2bbbb34d5fbe79941ac2578d5d0601e1872d2dffd2493b607bf3306c"}
