By using the \"Kolyvagin system\" arising from a given Euler system $c$, we shall construct ideals $C_i(c)$ of $\\Lambda$, and prove that the ideals $C_i(c)$ approximate the higher Fitting ideals of $X$ under suitable hypothesis.
