Here, we report the observation of a magnetic-field-antisymmetric Seebeck effect in a tilted Weyl semimetal, Co$_3$Sn$_2$S$_2$. Moreover, it is found that the Seebeck effect and the Nernst effect are antisymmetric in both the in-plane magnetic field and the magnetization. We attribute these exotic effects to the one-dimensional chiral anomaly and phase space correction due to the Berry curvature. The observation is further reproduced by a theoretical calculation, taking into account the orbital magnetization.","authors_text":"Bingyan Jiang, Enke Liu, Hai-Zhou Lu, Jiaji Zhao, Jiangyuan Qian, Juewen Fan, Lujunyu Wang, Ran Bi, Shen Zhang, Xiaobin Qiang, Xiaosong Wu","cross_cats":["cond-mat.other"],"headline":"","license":"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","primary_cat":"cond-mat.mes-hall","submitted_at":"2022-07-31T13:48:54Z","title":"Antisymmetric Seebeck effect in a tilted Weyl semimetal"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"2208.00434","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:0bdb7106c0846501994b321fdfdafabdbd4f60f3857e0db8d2f9e7dac1a90bdb","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-05T04:44:51Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"1328426704bc4007f8207d0fadea319540893d12ba11ac2e32367f615710a527","cross_cats_sorted":["cond-mat.other"],"license":"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","primary_cat":"cond-mat.mes-hall","submitted_at":"2022-07-31T13:48:54Z","title_canon_sha256":"148d3e29777b403b5594083dce2e44c220240c66235a3914d2ffca8cb99e0714"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"2208.00434","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"a69db64a9036a8a051a4c4efc32c5710b5ce429449e0b3fd4e1d7525fe1c7860","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"a69db64a9036a8a051a4c4efc32c5710b5ce429449e0b3fd4e1d7525fe1c7860","first_computed_at":"2026-07-05T04:44:51.662393Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-05T04:44:51.662393Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"T6xx7pYoU2J1HjeBZgTH9mFdvrkzvSVce6pbUK/LESUkIWBb+6y2Yp6hNA1KW6m66We/Xgft/3ft4xXNTPG6Cw==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-05T04:44:51.662806Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"2208.00434","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:0bdb7106c0846501994b321fdfdafabdbd4f60f3857e0db8d2f9e7dac1a90bdb","sha256:ab45b229896a0572738d12165e829e450faf4c5fb718796fdb328f7a4b9827d0"],"state_sha256":"9d87aa534addc05e3963dfe09fc504dfef05af411bf0cc6caab91a2d110b7cf7"}
