The as-grown MoSe2 thin films were characterized using transmission electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, photoluminescence, reflection high energy electron diffraction (RHEED) and angular resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES).
