SEM, TEM and XPS techniques were used to characterize the morphology, structure and size of nanowires as well as chemical Composition. The absorption spectrum of copper nanowires embedded in PCT was measured and calculated for different incident angles and wavelengths. Our results showed that there is a broad peak due to excitation surface plasmon at {\\theta} = 70\\degree for wavelength {\\lambda}= 730 nm.
