Following a proposal of Kontsevich we model A-branes on a punctured surface $\\Sigma$ via the topological Fukaya category. We prove that the topological Fukaya category of $\\Sigma$ is equivalent to the category of matrix factorizations of the mirror LG model $(X,W)$.
