Using an exact diagonalization of the isotropic Heisenberg Hamiltonian with nearest and next-nearest neighbor interactions, the energy eigenstates, magnetic specific heat capacity, magnetic susceptibility, and inelastic neutron scattering structure factors are determined for variable next-nearest neighbor interactions.
