It seems difficult to determine the minimum size $f(n)$ of a simple edge-pancyclic graph of order $n.$ We give lower and upper bounds on $f(n),$ and determine the maximum diameter of such a graph. In the $3$-connected case, the precise value of $f(n)$ is determined. We also determine the minimum size of a graph of a given order with connectivity conditions in which every edge lies in a triangle.","authors_text":"Chengli Li, Feng Liu, Xingzhi Zhan","cross_cats":[],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"math.CO","submitted_at":"2024-10-15T02:01:31Z","title":"The minimum size and maximum diameter of an edge-pancyclic graph of a given order"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"2410.11183","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:19cfa81900882973630eb7a5c1910f68cb798f1e160bbd28d03538de3acaf2bc","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-05T09:20:30Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"6fc38ff76cc524813c25aca594cb206ee70507e08835feaa40beb2b0d2120b2d","cross_cats_sorted":[],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"math.CO","submitted_at":"2024-10-15T02:01:31Z","title_canon_sha256":"aa54d5e3752f3d89a951665d8638c17ef3d408a78eb68edae42084fed1583167"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"2410.11183","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"b10af3a42b89ed51b6f11ea1b4039bd51d9638f0872c968f6d5094410b87432d","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"b10af3a42b89ed51b6f11ea1b4039bd51d9638f0872c968f6d5094410b87432d","first_computed_at":"2026-07-05T09:20:30.455744Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-05T09:20:30.455744Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"LriFu052g0um5guTR+CCt0HzStwGQCyNRtN6Hi+N2MkscFbaeKFsSNLp1V/FP8oefihlxEZhYFLAhIzQsC8ZCA==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-05T09:20:30.456199Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"2410.11183","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:19cfa81900882973630eb7a5c1910f68cb798f1e160bbd28d03538de3acaf2bc","sha256:607a1b18a84edac3d567697c16fbf2c7819140fd4bbd54d4a09aae09d4309cfe"],"state_sha256":"81bed9eee779f20114afe9149fa15a61dbcbb95d528f12fe8a0bca40f7dab628"}
