Evidence for such a state was recently reported in D_s^+pi^o by the BaBar Collaboration. We first note that a conventional quark model c-sbar assignment is implausible, and then consider other options involving multiquark systems. An I=0 c sbar n nbar baryonium assignment is one possibility. We instead favor a DK meson molecule assignment, which can account for the mass and quantum numbers of this state. The higher-mass scalar c-sbar state expected at 2.48 GeV is predicted to have a very large DK coupling, which","authors_text":"2), (2) Department of Physics, (3) Department of Theoretical Physics, (4) Department of Particle Physics, 5, (5) Faculty of Exact Sciences, 6) ((1) Physics Division, (6) High Energy Physics Division, Argonne National Laboratory), Astronomy, F.E.Close (3), H.J.Lipkin (4, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, T.Barnes (1, Tel Aviv University, University of Oxford, University of Tennessee, Weizmann Institute of Science","cross_cats":["nucl-th"],"headline":"","license":"","primary_cat":"hep-ph","submitted_at":"2003-05-02T19:45:14Z","title":"Implications of a DK Molecule at 2.32 GeV"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"hep-ph/0305025","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:490a868a4550810382a30231082acaa8133531aeb0ac278565e2bc1f87ead92d","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-04T15:17:40Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"83a671a0252acbfe19839091d23b9528fd468675c272f6d43a669fc8160dbcdb","cross_cats_sorted":["nucl-th"],"license":"","primary_cat":"hep-ph","submitted_at":"2003-05-02T19:45:14Z","title_canon_sha256":"4bfa895c202a887eafdb9b3ce340e85a9fdab4f4dc35885b88596b118b996c1a"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"hep-ph/0305025","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"b45e0603ebb1dd086acac33bda8d155750c2276677909d48067353ca31a85374","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"b45e0603ebb1dd086acac33bda8d155750c2276677909d48067353ca31a85374","first_computed_at":"2026-07-04T15:17:40.160640Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-04T15:17:40.160640Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"TUeyTrViVkCZHcmtamnKAUFGWlNBPLAvHKkGMUMgOqvxQgGfRHPNnsT+UU3GVpYh2+QHAwHHZ2zrCx1dyJqLBQ==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-04T15:17:40.161103Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"hep-ph/0305025","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:490a868a4550810382a30231082acaa8133531aeb0ac278565e2bc1f87ead92d","sha256:a3f55d26842db8c62224b656e80fa8320cd7e21018e81677c4bc63b33c1a9bb1"],"state_sha256":"3c577628889887542fa9646cddd5073551fb1e9f87dadd087fcc8038fb65617f"}
