Here, the $\\overline{\\rm{MS}}$ Lagrangian parameters are treated as the fundamental inputs, and the VEV is defined as the minimum of the Landau gauge effective potential, so that tadpole diagrams vanish, resulting in improved convergence of perturbation theory.
