In this work we explore fractonic topological phases using three-dimensional coupled wire constructions, which have proven to be a successful tool to realize and characterize topological phases in two dimensions. We find that both gapped and gapless phases with fractonic excitations can emerge from the models.","authors_text":"Arpit Dua, Joseph Sullivan, Meng Cheng","cross_cats":["quant-ph"],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"cond-mat.str-el","submitted_at":"2020-10-28T18:00:35Z","title":"Fractonic topological phases from coupled wires"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"2010.15148","kind":"arxiv","version":3},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:52de17eed46e6f7393685b99a7d53b8be34deb4789dae73853e28ef6bec597ab","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-05T02:43:10Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"e59d37863061f8128dceeb4861fd409998050fe1c1648ffe12d2384786d2d7cd","cross_cats_sorted":["quant-ph"],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"cond-mat.str-el","submitted_at":"2020-10-28T18:00:35Z","title_canon_sha256":"bda255d4907eb627f05f0943ef509b8391f5e934518930d0089285e4bc95ab2c"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"2010.15148","kind":"arxiv","version":3}},"canonical_sha256":"bb8d6cc317d446c67ca36e85d157f074fc46e57004251dadcbfd0ae328216388","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"bb8d6cc317d446c67ca36e85d157f074fc46e57004251dadcbfd0ae328216388","first_computed_at":"2026-07-05T02:43:10.839720Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-05T02:43:10.839720Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"y4TUXcFRs9CYvizEA6rZkyABL+1Jh98XNGj4k1HT7Y3/TVwhsiwCk61G/C1d7+T2tDLlDxnHThJ1KvgBP9JQDw==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-05T02:43:10.840147Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"2010.15148","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":3}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:52de17eed46e6f7393685b99a7d53b8be34deb4789dae73853e28ef6bec597ab","sha256:fae97c6199d64653521800ed4ed42511442ecd67346a96e212980e3dd806b200"],"state_sha256":"dfaf34341dd00c3282ba22b954f82efb21157d47257fd510494cd30da1b9fb0c"}
