This source, already observed by ASCA and BeppoSAX, belongs to the class of heavily absorbed objects (N_H > 10^23 cm^-2) that populate some arms of the Galaxy. Soon after the rediscovery by IBIS/ISGRI, the source was observed by XMM-Newton: the arcsec position found with XMM allowed ones to find the most likely infrared counterpart.
