In the context of thermodynamics the SU(2) Yang-Mills theory is assumed to be in its deconfining phase. In addition to the results already available, we compute the dispersion law for the longitudinal mode, which does not thermalize with matter, at one-loop accuracy. We analyze radiometric and bolometric methods to detect a gap in the black-body radiation spectra for low frequencies and at low temperatures.
