We consider a supersymmetric $SU(4)_c \\times SU(2)_L \\times SU(2)_R$ model in which this discrepancy is resolved by including contributions to muon $g-2$ from a relatively light SUSY sector. A variety of realistic coannihilation scenarios can reproduce the observed dark matter relic abundance. With a significantly reduced discrepancy, of order $1 \\sigma$ or less, the Higgsino-like dark matter solutions are also viable.
