Raman spectra reveal the LO(${\\Gamma}$) phonon and a cation-vacancy mode, while the optical conductivity identifies the TO phonon and an absorption edge corresponding to a 1.7 eV N 2p{$\\rightarrow$}Yb 5d transition.
