A natural construction of such systems comes from two-dimensional gauge theory and spectral curves. Starting from this point of view, we propose an integrable system relevant to the $N=2$ $SU(n)$ gauge theory with a hypermultiplet in the adjoint representation, and offer much evidence that it is correct. The model has an $SL(2,{\\bf Z})$ $S$-duality group (with the central element $-1$ of $SL(2,{\\bf Z})$ acting as charge conjugation);","authors_text":"Edward Witten, Ron Donagi","cross_cats":["alg-geom","math.AG"],"headline":"","license":"","primary_cat":"hep-th","submitted_at":"1995-10-16T20:42:59Z","title":"Supersymmetric Yang-Mills Systems And Integrable Systems"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"hep-th/9510101","kind":"arxiv","version":2},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:9b135d5b43c985ba386ecbb146a6dc7e551c10a97e25410a954dde89fd6fc5fa","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-04T17:25:46Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"9d5aa908bfa572d133495a6d27ab781d42da7458923b756fb8004bbf32bf2c82","cross_cats_sorted":["alg-geom","math.AG"],"license":"","primary_cat":"hep-th","submitted_at":"1995-10-16T20:42:59Z","title_canon_sha256":"94efd787a97c646669de0f338e04104db7699121a85deba850e9dd7952ebd86d"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"hep-th/9510101","kind":"arxiv","version":2}},"canonical_sha256":"cdd05cf2b1a833089839a389e09b9d82607f5b70df137638793d095b3a95e3c6","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"cdd05cf2b1a833089839a389e09b9d82607f5b70df137638793d095b3a95e3c6","first_computed_at":"2026-07-04T17:25:46.772466Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-04T17:25:46.772466Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"eZS2CDlYCavgLE3QebDvhJKvOfxE/uW6sf1xDpWK1HkW6tFMNhoJFL2gVjPHtV4RKi8iycFD9q8xCHYdMUCADA==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-04T17:25:46.772983Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"hep-th/9510101","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":2}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:9b135d5b43c985ba386ecbb146a6dc7e551c10a97e25410a954dde89fd6fc5fa","sha256:90ccbbd3d56cc45c390dd13f5da42d7ee9d8a46c2e63e0e1c70fc3b76c628424"],"state_sha256":"791dbadd6b580e6f6dbd798e59071121ca2f6e45a83466484b9576430a1bd090"}
