Demonstration of electrically tunable artificial electrostatic crystals in GaAs 2DEG forming graphene-like and kagome-like bands with an insulating state at kagome half-filling interpreted as loop-current Wigner insulator.
For example, an imposed po- tential ofW 0 = 3 meV is reduced to fW= 1 meV when four energy bands are fully filled (at n= 4n 0 = 9.2×10 10 cm−2)
