Broad optical illumination creates non-reciprocal thermo-osmotic forces between absorbing and passive colloids, propelling dimers and trimers and giving quadromers a preferred handedness.
We have also noticed that this active velocity increases with in- creasing intensity of the optical illumination (see supplementary information 2)
